The High Court Commercial Division in Blantyre has ordered Press Corporation Limited to liquidate Peoples Trading Centre (PTC) and closed down.

The ruling comes amid protests by former employees of the company who recently stormed the company’s head office demanding their salary arrears.

The court has also refused an application by an investor who wanted to buy PTC and reorganize it.
