Information reaching this publication indicates that Irene, a wife to Senior Chief Kaomba of Kasungu has died.

According to information at hand, Irene collapsed while out for choir practices yesterday afternoon and she was rushed to Kasungu District Hospital where she was pronounced dead upon arrival.

Kasungu District Commissioner, James Kanyangalazi has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.

Funeral details are sketchy at the moment.
