A 16-year-old boy from Utale in Balaka has been arrested on allegations that he had carnal knowledge of a pregnant pig.

Balaka Police Station Officer, Gideon Chisale, has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.

According to Chisale, the suspect was caught in the act of bestiality which is contrary to section 153 (b) of the penal code.

The minor will appear before court this afternoon and if found guilty, Chisale indicates, the boy would be sent to a reformatory center for rehabilitation.
