Bishop Sitima urges Catholic Congregants to play a role in improving the socio-economic challenges

The Roman Catholic Church has asked Christians from different diocese in the country to contribute more towards improving the socio-economic challenges of Malawi.

Vice Chairperson of the Episcopal conference of Malawi Bishop Montfort Sitima said this during a media briefing in Blantyre.

According to Sitima, Christians should use the month of October to pray without stopping for the Nation Malawi socio-economic challenge and they should give as much as they can to help the nation.

This year’s October mission will be celebrated in Mangochi, according to Sitima.

The October mission dates back to 1517.
