A 38 year-old female game scout is nursing a gunshot wound after being shot for allegedly turning down a love proposal from her male colleague while on night patrol.

Madrin Phiri, a game scout at Mkhanya Community Resource Board, was shot on the right ribcage after she refused to have sex with Peter Tembo.
