A “special” permission handed to the groom at a traditional Igbo marriage ceremony has sparked outrage.

In a viral video on social media, the bride’s pals were allowed to be chosen by the groom.

The gorgeously dressed women paraded in front of him so he could see them and perhaps alter his mind about who he wanted to marry.

The man was unwavering in his resolve to wed the love of his life, even though it was all done for amusement.

Eventually, the young suitor selected his future wife and declared that she is the one he wants to be with. He constantly responded positve to the elders’ questions about his certainty.
