Ombudsman Grace Malera is this morning releasing an investigative report on misuse of Covid-19 funds.

The investigation focused on the extra K17 billion allocation as part of Covid-19 response.

According to the Ombudsman, it has been established that there is continued misplacement of priorities in the management of public fund.

The investigation has established that a larger chunk of the funds was spent on personal allowances and not necessarily essential activities.
