One of the country’s leading media houses Mibawa Television has trashed rumors that one of its journalists is no more.

Over the week, Ashido Timothy, posted on Malawi 24/7 News Updates that Steve Banda a Mibawa reporter has died.

According to Timothy, Steve died of heart attack.

However, Mibawa Television dismissed the death rumors saying that Banda is well and kicking.

“Steve Banda is well and kicking, when people do not like the truth told to them, they try and destroy those who stand for the truth,” Mibawa Television posted.

Meanwhile, it is not known if the Mibawa Television and Banda will take legal action against Timothy for spreading false news.
