The Council of Chaplaincy Ministry has presented a certificate of recognition to Vice President Saulos Chilima for what they say his role in Malawi’s political transformation and championing mindset change.

Executive Director of the Council Mabvuto Chipeta said they appreciate the political sacrifices that Chilima has made to the nation.

Chilima has been invited to the Second International Conference of Chaplains in Malawi to deliver his address to mark the closing the four days conference.

The Council of Chaplaincy Ministry, the host, was established in 2018 with the aim of bringing sanity among spiritual caregivers in various institutions.

The conference which was being held under the theme, “Dialogue Digging and Diversity of Chaplaincy Ministry,” attracted Chaplains from different fields among others security agencies, faith organisations, health and education from Zambia, Zimbabwe and Malawi.
