Police in Dedza are keeping in Custody a 16-year old boy (Name withheld) for defiling a 4 year old cousin.

Dedza Police Spokesperson Edward Kabango has confirmed the arrest saying the victim and the suspect live in the same compound.

According to Kabango, the boy allegedly invited the girl into the kitchen around 12 midday claiming he wanted to cook nsima for her but ended up defiling her.
