Karonga Police Public Station Relations Officer Sergeant George Mulewa the arrests of over 80 Ethiopian nationals and two Malawians have been arrested in Karonga on suspicion that they entered the country illegally.

Mulewa said the people were intercepted at Chilumba Barracks checkpoint on their way to the direction of Mzuzu from Songwe border.

They will appear before court soon.
