Nigerian Nurses Twerking On Social Media In Search Of Husbands Worries Chief Nurse

Chief Nursing and Midwifery Officer for Bono Region, Mad. Emily Ama Oduro has expressed worry over the negative use of social media by nurses.

She says it is worrying that nurses are now denigrating the Profession with their uncouth behaviours, especially on social media.

Chief Nursing and Midwifery Officer for Bono Region, Mad. Emily Ama Oduro said in recent times, Nurses are seen on social media twerking and exposing themselves just so they can attract men and husbands and that is worrying.

She implored Nurses to rather look at the positives that social media brings and take advantage to build their personal brands and also engage in public education on the various diseases.

She was speaking in an interview on the sidelines of this year’s International Nurses Day celebration in Sunyani.

This year’s International Nurses Day celebration was under the theme: “Nurses and Midwives: A voice to lead, investing in nurses and respect Nurses right to secure global health”.

The celebration had nurses from Bono, Ahafo, and Bono East (BABE), regions present.
