Information reaching this publication indicates that uknown people in Lilongwe have abducted Centre for Democracy and Economic Development Initiatives (CDEDI) Executive Director Sylvester Namiwa.

CDEDI Communication Officer Edwin Mauluka has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.

According to Mauluka, he was with Namiwa during the incident in Area 3.

Namiwa was scheduled to lead demonstrations tomorrow.
