Ntcheu Demonstrators Gives Chakwera 14 Days To Resolve Their Grievances

Dzuka Ntcheu, a grouping of concerned citizens who led peaceful demonstrations in the district today have given President Lazarus Chakwera 14 days to respond to their concerns lest they return to the streets.

Spokesperson for the group, Biles Ntsinambuto, says the Chakwera-led Tonse led administration has let down Malawians owing to unfulfilled campaign promises such that people are suffering in abject poverty.

Receiving their petition, Ntcheu District Commissioner, Francis Matewere, has assured he will deliver the petition.

He has, however, commended the protesters for conducting the protests peacefully.
