Protesters in Ntcheu under the banner “Ntcheu Dzuka” have started off from Ntcheu old depot to Ntcheu district council offices to deliver their petition.

The demonstrators are protesting among others against high cost of living and the district’s poor development.

Meanwhile there is heavy police presence, with many shops closed at the Boma.
