Some unknown people have dumped 348 live and six blank ammunition at a village near Malembo trading center in Mangochi.

The ammunitions are of nine millimetre size and are used in pistols and other short guns.

Monkey Bay Police Spokesperson Alice Sichali has confirmed of the development in an interview with Times.

According to Sichali, efforts to trace as to whether the ammunition belongs to Malawi Police Service or Malawi Defense Force are underway.
