Senior Resident Magistrate Wanangwa Nyirenda has granted bail to Former Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Homeland Security Samuel Madula and the ministry’s Chief Director, Kennedy Nkhoma.

Before the bail ruling the State told the court that it is yet to obtain a consent from the Director of Public Prosecution, as such the case be adjourned to August 22 2022 when the suspects will be charged.

Madula and Nkhoma were arrested by the Anti-Corruption Bureau yesterday on allegations of abuse of office.
