Legislature Ishmael Onani Wants Parliament To Discuss APM’s Allegations On Bingu’s Death

Parliament has been asked to discuss the allegations made by the former Head of State Peter Mutharika that his brother Bingu Wa Mutharika who was the country’s third republican president was killed.

On Sunday, Mutharika alleged that his brother was poisoned through some wine somewhere around 8 in the morning and died two hours later on April five, 2012.

Mutharika continued that he knows the people who killed the late president but he will not open a case against them nor disclose their name to void ‘would be defamation cases’

Speaking on a point of order, legislature for Dedza South Ishmael Onani said Bingu was the president of the country and the allegations made by his brother must be taken serious.

According to Onani, the House should not let the matter slide as Bingu was State President and not just former President Peter Mutharika’s brother.
