Spokesperson for Alliance for Democracy (AFORD) Khumbo Mwaungulu has resigned from his position and as a member of the party.

Announcing his resignation, Mwaungulu who is a pastor said he want to dedicate his life to religious side of his life.

Mwaungulu heads Restoration Calvary Community Church under the Evangelical Alliance for Preachers and Training Commission.

According to Mwaungulu, he cannot serve two masters at once.

He has been a member AFORD since 2013.

AFORD officials are yet to comment.
