The Malawi Police Service(MPS) on Friday arrested three Security Guards from G4S for allegedly assaulting former teacher for St. Andrews International Primary School in Blantyre.
The arrest followed a leaked video showing the security guards manhandling the teacher identified as Nola Formentin.
Blantyre Police spokesperson Peter Mchiza confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.
According to Mchiza, the three are currently out on bail and will appear in court today for formal charges.
It is said that Formentin and Janet Philips were suspended on grounds that they leaked a sensitive MEMO to parents of some leaners at the school.
Formentin sort court invention on the matter after noticing that the school management was not renewing her contract and the court reinstated her.
Despite the court intervention on the matter management of the school continued to sideline her until Friday when management asked G4S Security guards to forcefully evict the teacher.
Meanwhile, reports indicate that the teacher has left the country.
