Blantyre City Council (BCC) has sealed Pamodzi Park office building for non-payment of city rates worth about K20 million.

The development comes barely a year after the council also sealed the building over the same matter.

BCC Deputy Mayor Baraba Kanojerera has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.

According to Kanojerera, Pamodzi Park officials failed to honour the commitment they made last year regarding payment of the city rates arrears.

Pamodzi Park officials are yet to comment on the matter.
