Three people have died and 14 others have sustained various degrees of injuries after a vehicle they were travelling ingot involved in an accident in Chitipa.

Chitipa police Deputy Public Relations Officer, Rabson Mkandawire has confirmed of the accident in an interview with the press.

According to Mkandawire, the 17 were on their way to attend a funeral procession yesterday.

The 14 are receiving medical help at Chitipa District Hospital.
