Chinese national Lu Ke, commonly known as Susu, wanted for exploiting children in Malawi, has been arrested in Zambia.
Confirming the development, Spokesperson in the Department of Immigration and Citizenship Services responsible for Central Region Pasqually Zulu says Lu Ke was arrested yesterday in Chipata Zambia, after leaving the country through uncharted routes.
Zulu says they are working with the Zambian government to have Lu Ke back in the country where he will be answering charges.
Following an investigation by BBC Africa Eye, Lu Ke was shooting 380 videos a day, earning him about 77 million kwacha and paying the children in his videos less than 1200 kwacha.
