Dedza District Health Office has registered 102 abortion cases from January to May this year, Zodiak Online has reported.
District Health Office Spokesperson Mwai Liabunya told Zodiak Online that out of the cases 14 were complicated.
Liabunya has attributed the cases to fear of reprimand and that pregnancy will affect their (girls) studies. The cases involve women between the ages 14 to 38.
