Former Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Regional Governor for the North Christopher Mzomera Ngwira has re-launched his political career after his release from Prison two weeks ago.
Mzomera Ngwira on Sunday attended a DPP rally in Mzuzu which was presided over by the party’s Vice President for the north Goodall Gondwe.
His arrival stole the show as he was carried onto the stage while all leaders had already taken their seats.
Speaking at the rally Mzomera Ngwira has asked leaders in the party to respect those that once held positions they are holding saying they are crucial in unifying and growing the party further.
This was a direct attack on the current governor Ackim Mwanza who was also booed when addressing the people who attended the rally.
DPP is yet to decide as to whether Mzomera Ngwira will be re-instated at his position or not.
