A teenage boy who has been in hiding after stabbing to death his friend in Mulanje has been arrested by police.

Mulanje Police spokesperson Gresham Ngwira has confirmed the development in an interview with the press.

According to Ngwira, the suspect identified as Limbani Mtimaukanena has been charged with murder.

Mtimaukanena is accused of stabbing to death 23 year old Henderson Kalonga.
