Published reports indicate that former United Transformation Movement (UTM) National Youth Director Bon Kalindo has been offered a job at Malawi mission in Brazil.

According to information at hand, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has proposed the name of Kalindo to serve as first secretary for Tourism at Malawi’s mission in Brazil.

But Kalindo said he is not aware of the development.

“I am hearing it from you my brother and I cannot lie to you,” Kalindo was quoted as saying in one of the local daily papers (Nation Publication Limited).

The offer comes barely months after Kalindo led by Malawians in protesting against rising cost of living in the country.
