The Centre for Economic Development Initiatives (CDEDI) is fearing for the worst amid deteriorating foreign exchange reserves.

CDEDI Executive Director, Silvester Namiwa during a press briefing in Lilongwe has since asked President Lazarus Chakwera to come up with deliberate mechanisms aimed at improving the country’s economy.

During the briefing, Namiwa alleged that some top ranking officials are involved in the externalization of forex, contributing to the depletion of the same.
