President Lazarus Chakwera has donated K2 million towards the Red Cross Society of Malawi’s 2022 National Flag Week which he has launched today morning at Kamuzu Palace in Lilongwe.

The National Flag Week follows the commemoration of the Red Crescent Day and the Red Cross Day which fall on May 8 every year and is held as a way of raising funds that are used in the various activities carried out by the Red Cross Society.

This year the national flag week will be held under the theme; ‘Be Human Kind.’
