Information reaching this publication indicates that an earth tremor has hit some parts of the capital Lilongwe this morning.

According to information at hand, the earth tremor was felt around 6:07 AM.

The meteorological department is yet to release the magnitude of the tremor.

Last month, some districts name Blantyre, Mulanje, Thyolo, Nsanje and Chikwawa also experienced an earth tremor twice.

The meteorological department indicated that the epicenter of the said tremor was Mozambique.
