Badu: I like the fighting spirit
Said the 30-year-old: “I am very excited. To be part of this family makes me happy.
“They are a good side, fantastic. I like the team work and fighting spirit.
“It is an honour to have an opportunity of playing under a coach of his [Callisto Pasuwa] calibre.”
The former Hearts of Oak defender said he is hoping to play a big part in the People’s Team’s next CAF Champions League campaign.
On his part, Pasuwa said he is hopeful that Badu will add value to the team.
He said: “He is the type of defender we have been looking for as we did not have a player of his stature in defence.
“We welcome the boy and wish him the best of luck.”
