Police in the Eastern Province of Zambia have detained three people over a video circulated on social media in which they are making verbal attacks against President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA.

Eastern Province Acting Police Commanding officer, DAVIES SIMWANZA has confirmed to ZANIS the picking up and detaining of three people, out of the five who appeared in the video.

Mr SIMWANZA has named the three suspects as SIMON ZULU 30 of Kalizya Village Chief Kalindawalo in Petauke district, DOMINIC DAKA 37 of Hillside area in Petauke and opposition PF District Youth Chairperson EDWIN PENDE 29 of Nthani Village in Chief Nyamphande in Lusangazi District.
