A police officer on President Lazarus Chakwera’ convoy is making headlines on social media after he was caught kicking a man pushing his bicycle along the road.

According to the video trending on social media, the man was too close to the road and as a way of making him give enough space to avoid uncertainties, the police officer had no choice but to kick him.

The actions by the police officer has attracted mixed reactions as some think he overreacted and others blame the man.

When the president’s motorcade is passing, according to the laws of Malawi, no one is allowed to come closer for security reasons.
