The Ministry of Trade and Industry has dissolved the Malawi Bureau of Standards Board with immediate effect.

Minister of Trade Mark Katsonga Phiri has confirmed of the development in a statement made available to faceofmalawi.

According to Katsonga, the dissolution is in accordance with section 32 of the General Interpretation Act which empowers the minister to dissolve the board.
