K14 Million Lands Two Men In Jail In Phalombe

First Grade Magistrate Court in Phalombe has convicted and sentenced two men to 10 years imprisonment with hard labor in Phalombe.

The two Gift Chapweteka and Boniface William, both aged 19 robbed a business person and went away with cash amounting to K14 million at Said trading center in the district.

In his ruling, First Grade Magistrate Leonard Kafansiyanji Mtosa, concurred with the state to slap the convicts with a stiff punishment.

He then sentenced the two to 10 years imprisonment with hard labor to deter other would be offenders.
