An 18 year old Zambian boy has taken own life by hanging himself to a tree in a bush 100 meters away from his village after he found out that there was no Nsima (Nshima) left for him.

North western Deputy Commissioner of police Dr Fred Mulenga confirmed of the development and identified the young man as Ackwel Kaumba.

Dr. Mulenga states that facts of the matter are that on 9 April 2022 the deceased came back home from playing around 18:00 and found his mother identified as Nivia Nkuba aged 35 of the same abode had not left Nshima for him which angered the deceased and told his mother that he had gone to kill himself.

He says that efforts were made by his mother to look for him but to no avail adding that the body was later found hanging on a tree using his jean trousers.

Dr Mulenga said,the relatives to the deceased have since decided to bury the body as no foul play is suspected.
