Malawi Police Service (MPS) have released an Investigative journalist Gregory Gondwe on bail.
According to information gathered by this publication, the police however, have kept the gadgets they confiscated from him.
Yesterday, the police raided the office of Platform for Investigative Journalism (PIJ) and detained Gondwe before confiscating computers and phones belonging to the office and staff.
According to one of PIJ journalists, Golden Matonga, the police demanded the source of the story the platform recently wrote.
When the news broke out that the whereabouts of Gondwe are unknown after he was picked by the police, National police Spokesperson James Kadadzera said they had invited Gondwe for interviews at their offices.
