Two People Arrested Over Theft In Mangochi, Items Worth K7 Million Recovered

Police in Mangochi have arrested two suspected criminals identified as Time Amadu, 21, a Mozambican National and Saidi James, 27, a Malawian and recovered items worth 7 million kwacha in the operation.

According to Mangochi Police Station Spokesperson, Sub Inspector Amina Tepani Daudi, the two have been arrested on suspicion that they committed burglary and theft offences.

She added that the two are suspected to have been terrorizing within Katuli area in the district since February this year.

They will appear before court soon to answer charges of theft.
