“As the spiritual father of this nation, the Head of State could have consulted me”.

Zambia’s Renowned Clergyman Prophet ISAAC Praise has expressed shock with President Hakainde Hichilema for choosing not to consult him before hiking fuel prices.

Speaking in his office in Monze today, Prophet Isaac said he is perturbed that the government decided to hike fuel prices without consulting him as the Spiritual Father of the Nation.

The Man of God said although fuel increment is understandable, hiking fuel by almost K5 is a huge blander as it will worsen poverty levels among ordinary Zambians.

The Prophet said by hiking fuel prices without critically consulting stake holders, President HH is directly decampaigning himself and his party UPND by disappointing the masses who voted for him. He has since urged the Head of State to quickly reduce fuel by K9 that is from K26 to K17 where he found it in 2021.

The prophet has urged UPND members to always advise the President so that he avoids by all means frustrating the 2.8 million people who voted for him in August 2021.

“Please when making critical decisions affecting ordinary Zambians, always consult me as the Spiritual Father of the Nation for you to avoid annoying people who voted for you”, Prophet ISAAC Praise advised President Hakainde Hichilema today.
