Namalomba’s injunction case against Nankhumwa back in court

The High Court in Zomba has started hearing an injunction obtained by Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) spokesperson Shadreck Namalomba restraining leader of opposition Kondwani Nankhumwa from making any decision without consulting the party.

When the case resumed this morning, lawyers representing spokesperson for the party Shadreck Namalomba expressed interest to cross examine speaker of national assembly Gotani Hara and also asked to quiz secretary general of the part Greizeilder Jeffrey in court.

Attorney General Thabo Nyirenda shot down the applications including the one of DPP to join as friends of court saying it is total court abuse.

High court judge Mzondi Mvula has reserved April 7 to rule on preliminary objections.
