Mighty Wanderers supporters from Central and Southern are today scheduled to hold demonstrations in Blantyre demanding the resignation of Humphreys Mvula as the Secretary to the clubs board.
In an interview with senior Wanderers official said supporters are not happy with Mvula holding the position at the club.
The supporters are scheduled to meet Mvula at his residence in BCA, Blantyre.
Reacting to supporters claim Mvula has trashed the calls.
“It is very very funny, look I don’t need any supporter to walk on my private property. What ever I have done it is because I love Wanderers. They should not waste their precious time.
“No amount of pressure will force me to relinquish [power] unless I so decide and that decision will be taken in consultation with my family, after all they are not interested to see myself running football,” said Mvula.
He added: “By the way, I was erected by board and this is the board which is running Wanderers today, so I don’t know how would someone write me a letter to step down. I don’t know how?”
However, national supporters committee General Secretary Peter Mvalo has thrown all his weight behind Mvula saying he is not aware about the supporters take and Mvula is still board secretary as such he is not going anywhere now.
