A female Grade 12 pupil of Rusangu Secondary school in Monze District of Southern Province has died after being electrocuted in the school dormitory.

The victim, identified as Mooya Choonda, met her fate while chatting with her friends, attempted to jump for the top of the Room and got stuck on the pranks.

Southern province police commanding officer Mr Alfred Nawa confirmed the development.

The body of young girl was taken to hospital for postmortem.
