12 Foreign Nationals Arrested at Njereza Cement Factory Freed after Receiving orders from High Offices

Eastern Region Immigration Office, busted a syndicate of 12 foreign nationals working without permits at the Njereza Cement factory situated in Mangochi which is owned by a Politician.

It is reported that the Immigration’s secret agents arrested the foreigners and brought them before Mangochi Police Station on Thursday, March 24th.

Minutes later the Immigration officials got numerous calls from their bosses to release the foreign nationals but they rejected vehemently until justice prevails.

When Eastern Region Immigration officials visited Mangochi Police this morning to follow up on the matter, they were told that the people were released following instructions from senior government officials and the Inspector of Police.

Meanwhile, both the Immigration Department and the National Police publicists are yet to comment on the matter as this is a developing story.
