TNM Super League giants Nyasa Big Bullets, Mighty Wanderers and Silver Strikers have issued a warning that they are ready to dominate the top three positions again.
The performance of the three teams during the just-ended Pamtsetse Soccer Bonanza signalled a tough and competitive season ahead.

Bullets coach Callisto Pasuwa believes they can defend the league despite his team finishing on third position.
He said: “The bonanza afforded me to try new formations ahead of the new season. From what I have seen, I am very excited and I can confidently say I have 28 players who are fit and ready for the new season.”
Bullets lost 1-0 to Silver on Saturday before beating Civo 2-0 the next day.
“We played different formations and I am pleased with how the youngsters care fitting in. We just need to work more on their physicality,” said Pasuwa.
Wanderers head coach Eddington Ng’onamo said he was also impressed with the squad he has formed.
“I think we are ready for the new season. We played well in the two games during the Pamtsetse Soccer Bonanza.
“The performance showed that the players have bought our philosophy. The way we attacked, defended showed great character and effort,” he said.
Wanderers have roped in former Bullets forward Chiukepo Msowoya and he made an instant impression.
He scored against Civo in the first game and was unfortunate not to have a brace against Silver Strikers.
“Chiukepo is not spent. I believe he has a lot to offer to this club. He was very aggressive and threatening. We are yet to see the best of him,” said assistant coach Joseph Kamwendo.
One of the promosing players of the two day bonanza was Silver’s Chawanangwa Kaonga.
The striker’s two goals on Saturday and Sunday downed Blantyre giants Bullets and Wanderers.
Silver assistant coach Mcdonald Yobe said he was pleased with how the striker is impacting play.
“What is pleasing is the depth in the team. Kaonga has added more options in attack and that is what you need in the league.
“We are happy with how the team played in the bonanza and we are optimistic about the league,” he said.
