Prophet Shepherd Bushiri of Enlighten Christian Gathering (ECG) church has praised well-known musician cum-pastor Macdonald Mlaka Maliro’s newly released hit single ‘There’s No Wine’ (Vinyo Watha).

Mlaka Malaro’s new single has generated mixed reactions with many claiming that the singer is attacking Bushiri.

But in a statement Bushiri through his spokesperson Ephraim Nyondo has praised Mlaka Maliro’s creativity in the song.

“With regards to ‘There is no wine’ song by Pastor Mlaka, Prophet Bushiri considers it to be a great song and he loves it immensely. The Prophet understands that when a great composer such as Pastor Mlaka sits down to create a song, he gets inspired by so many things.

“The Prophet feels that whatever inspired Pastor Mlaka to make the song, he strongly believes that his motives must be respected,” said Nyondo.

Mlaka was heading Bushiri’s ECG church in Eswatini, formally Swaziland. He announced his resignation from the Church last week.
