Minister of Information in the Shadow Cabinet Mark Botomani has lamented that, the tension that is happening in Democratic Progressive Party will cease soon members are requesting sanity.

Speaking in an interview with the press, Botoman admitted that as one of the members of DPP, he is also concerned with the misunderstandings and has since urged DPP members to stop pointing fingers at Leader of Opposition Kondwani Nankhumwa by claiming that he is the one responsible for the misunderstandings.

These sentiments however come barely a few days after the Party’s Spokesperson Shadrec Namalomba obtained an injunction through the Zomba High Court restraining the Parliament from recognizing Nankhumwa’s appointed Shadow cabinet among other issues.

For the past weeks, the DPP leadership has been distancing itself from decisions made by Nankhumwa while claiming that some of the decisions have not sought the party’s approval.
