LUANAR students banned from classes over unpaid school fees

Some students from Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR) have been banned from attending classes over unpaid tuition fees.

This has been disclosed in MEMO from the College Registrar dated March 2, 2020 addressed to Assistant Registrar copied to Academic Head of Finance seen by this publication.

According to the MEMO, 50 percent of the students at the university are yet to pay a tuition fees.

“Management has not noted with great concern that about 50% of our students have not registered for this semester, and in view of this, management has directed that all unregistered students should not be allowed to attend classes/practical sessions,” reads in part the MEMO.
