Well-known veteran politician Ken Msonda has dumped the opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) squabbles and joined grouping fighting for corruption country dubbed “citizens against Impunity and Corruption”.
The grouping is led by well-known social commentator Joshua Chisa Mbele who is also member of the Untied Transformation Movement (UTM).
The grouping is currently holding a media briefing ahead of the Tuesday’s demonstration. The grouping is against the decision by businessman Mr Ashok Nair to sue Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Director General Martha Chizuma for defamation.
Msonda has also been spotted attending the media briefing attracting mixed reactions with many claiming that he is planning to resign from frontline politics.
Recently Msonda obtained an injunction against some appointments in DPP, saying some procedures were flouted.
Meanwhile, DPP is planning to challenge the injunction.
