Winiko’s case back in Court in Zomba

Politician-cum-activist Bon Kalindo, who is answering a charge of publishing false material, is at the Chief Resident Magistrate’s Court in Zomba, where his case continues today.

Kalindo is alleged to have told a gathering in Mangochi, during demonstrations which he organised, that former Second Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Clement Chiwaya, was murdered at Parliament Building in Lilongwe.

He was granted bail by Chief Resident Magistrate Austin Banda on December 13 last year.

The State is expected to start parading its witnesses in the case.
