Press Secretary of President Lazarus Chakwera, Anthony Kasunda has said State house has has instituted internal disciplinary measures against members of staff alleged to be using the name of President Lazarus Chakwera to obtain favors.

According to Kasunda, some of the officers have been confirmed to members of staff at State House and that administrative corrective measures are being taken.

‘’We cannot talk much on what State House will do but people should be assured that State House is doing something about the issue. ‘’Kasunda said.

This follows calls from the public and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) for disclosure of the officers and their reporting to the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB).

Kasunda said they can report the matter to ACB but there is a question of security of the president but State House is doing something about it.
